How do I merge PDFs?

Will I still be able to select text?
If your PDF is already under the target, yes. If it has to be shrunk, pages are converted to compressed images, so text is no longer selectable.
Why can't it reach my target?
Long PDFs with many pages may not fit a small limit while staying readable. Try a higher target or split the document.
